I posted something similiar to what I posted here yesterday on the patients like me web site. Lots of others have felt what I am feeling. Alot of them suggested PT. I'll talk with my doc at next visit - in 2-3 weeks. It's worth a try!
It's kind of comforting to know there are others out there going through what we do isn't it? Not many people are dealing with what I am, I have one of the longest spine fusions ever done, and it's about to get even bigger, but I still do find some comfort talking to others with chronic pain on some message boards and stuff. Blogging it has also helped me cope with it all. It's a way to just get it all out, not keep all of the feelings bottled up inside where they eat at you and make you depressed.
I'm glad you have others to talk to, even if it is just online, it really does help.
I currently use a wheelchair, and was diagnosed 14 plus years ago. I am now in the secondary progressive stage. I have 2 children, 16 & 12, and have been married for 16 plus years to a wonderful, understanding man.
