Husband came home yesterday with a surprise for the whole family - a Wii system. We had talked about getting one before Christmas as a way for me to get more movement. I'll have o let you know how and if it works for me.
This morning was rough. Everyone went out except me and my son (12). Wouldn't you know it, I had an accident and got ill. Son had to help clean me and the floor up. He was a trooper with zero complaints. It feels awful to rely on my children to help with my care. He kept telling me that it happens to all of us and that everything was OK. Right then and there I saw a part of his father in him.
We put a down payment on our family vaca that's to happen in Oct - a trip to Disney. There almost everything is accessible and we got a room at one of the resorts that has a roll-in shower. Thank God. That way my care will be easier on everyone!

So sorry that you got sick. But your son has learned the right things because you have taught him the right things to do. Hope you feel better soon.
