That's right - today is national strawberry ice cream day. Who would have thought?
I have found some new uses for vinegar that make cleaning easier.
1) For grease - pour vinegar on a sponge or cloth and wash area.
2)Pour vinegar in toilet bowl and swish then flush (Use about 1 cup).
3)Mold/mildew - fill a spray bottle 1/2 with water and 1/2 with vinegar - spray away.
4)Drain cleaner- pour 1/2 box of baking soda down drain. Pour vinegar next - enough to cause a foam. Pour the rest of the box down drain. Now run hot water.
5)Clean microwave - fill a bowl 1/2 with vinegar and 1/2 water. Nuke 2 mins. then wipe with the same solution - but be careful! Solution will be hot.
I'll research some more ideas.
