Have an appt. today. Not looking forward to it. Not because it is the dentist, no. Doctors and others (in my opinion) do not really think about those of us in wheelchairs. It is extremely difficult to transfer onto the tables/chairs. My husband has to pick me up - not an easy task. These tables/chairs usually do not lower to a wheelchair level, so without physical assistance, you are out of luck. It must be difficult as well for elderly or anyone who have knee, back, or hip issues. I wish those in doctors' offices would put themselves in a wheelchair for a day. Then they would have a beeter understanding of what we go through. Wish me luck!
On a happier note, we welcome to our family 3 new additions. My husband picked up 3 red ear slider turtles with all the fixings - even a 55 gallon tank. This was seen on craig's list. My son is so excited. He has been wanting a (! mind you) turtle. These came all together with the tank, filter, food, rocks. I never thought I would enjoy these. It really is relaxing to watch them. I also never realized how huge a 55 gallon tank was. It takes up the entire end of one of our kitchen counters.
